Water water everywhere and many drops to pump

Today was fire truck and portable pump test day. Because the fire dept. operates under Ontario's Fire Marshal rules and has several pieces of fire marshal provided equipment...the rules say we have to test this apparatus every year and document the results. The testing was done by Fort Gary Fire Trucks who send a field tech out with very specialized test equipment. He covers a wide area from Manitoba to Ontario's Eastern border.We have a pumper, 2 portable pumps and 3 ladders that are to be tested. In the case of the fire truck pumper the pump has to be able to deliver a certain liters per minute at a specified pressure for 10 minutes. The test pressures are 150, 200, and 250 psi. (For our Euro readers that's 10.3 bar, 13.8 and 17.2 bar)
We also have 2 portable pumps that can supply up to 2000 litres/min/100 psi that also have to get certified. Each of the 3 ladders is also stress tested. It was a great day to do the testing with moderate temps and no bugs down by Cooks Dock.
