The new wood crib is finished. It's 8 x 32 feet (outside dimensions) and can hold about 20 face cords of wood. The posts are sawed from cedar trees from our forest that had a year to dry and the rest was sourced locally. It's designed to hold a substantial snow load. The posts are held by metal "super spikes" which are 3 feet long and driven into the ground with a sledge hammer.
