September happenings

Aside from selling the boat, not much else happened until today. Tim will post on that.

Here a few pictures taken in early September till now.

The garden did well, and will be bigger next spring. Already started to dig.
Since we won't be building the garage till spring because all the builders are busy and there is also a shortage of building supplies, we have to fill up all the cinder blocks to prevent them from filling up with rain and snow, then freezing and cracking. It's a lot of work, and I am truly no help at all, I just kept Stella busy and started to dig in the dirt instead.

We have had beautiful weather these last 2 weeks with sun and warm temperatures, but fall is definitely here. The leaves are starting to change now.

On the spur of the moment we decided to go to Elliot  Lake when we were in Espanola to get some stuff from Canadian Tire. There is an old fire tower look out point. It was a bit hazy but the North Channel was visible and you could just see the coast line of Manitoulin, with Gore Bay, and the Cup and Saucer hiking trail. We will go back there with a proper camera and when it is severe clear and take some better pictures. We also want to explore the area north of Elliot Lake.
