Merry Christmas To Everyone Around The World

Merry Christmas! We woke up to a White Christmas! There is still 10 cm of snowpack in the woods and another 7 cm fell yesterday/overnight. Stella and I did our longest hike yet...7 km. About 2 of those kms were thru woods trail and moderate going. The ice continues to form in Cooks Dock bay and now stretches several km's out in the North Channel. Our new wood stove continues to amaze. We have now run the stove continuously since the end of October and only let the fire burn down a bit every 2 weeks to empty some ashes.(There is an ash dump system and hopper in the bottom of the stove)
