Went to our future home again for a hike through the woods with Dave and Cheryl, who dropped their boat cradle off in Gore Bay and had a beer with them at Cook's dock.
Also bought a chainsaw, a wood splitter and a CabCadet to haul the wood and plow the driveway and explored the local furniture/appliance store and got a good idea of how much money we were going to spend on a new stove and a bed.
But we also had to spend money on the boat. Our water heater had a tiny leak, and sooner or later that would turn into a major leak. So out it came, and Tim will post the details of the replacement separately.
And then it got warmer and we washed the deck. And then, with nothing else to do but wait for the closing of the house, we went out for 3 days. The water had risen from 3 to 10C by now, so no swimming yet, but lots of sun. We were the only boat out there. The water was clear as could be. The picture shows logs at a depth of 17'.
