We had to get back. Have to go to work on Monday. Decided, since the weather gods were smiling upon us, to to go to Hope Island. The winds were forecasted from the NW at 10 knots and then light and variable into the weekend. Should be a very nice, calm sail, and perfect weather to anchor at Hope. And it was. We knew we had all day and at first we were flying, then crawling. We suddenly invoked the 2 knot rule vs. the usual 5 knots. (If we were to go any slower than 2 knots we would have to start the engine to have rudder control). And then, the famous off shore land effect breeze kicked in, and off we went. Took us all of 3 really nice hours to get to Hope (15 nautical miles).
We anchored, swam, and enjoyed the view.
The next day Todd and Lisa, friends from the marina, pulled in and we went for a dinghy ride to the abandoned light house.

There are 3 wrecks in the area and we went to look at one. See Lisa with snorkel gear to get a good view, without getting wet.
And then we just had to get back to Penetang and off to work on Monday morning.
