Tim and I have always liked 12 Mile Bay. This is where you come in from off shore Georgian Bay. The entrance is at O'Donnell Point. The anchorage is just inside 12 Mile Bay, well protected and lots of places to explore. We try to spend at least a few days there every year. Some years several extended weekend. The water is clear as can be.
Jason, Lela and kids were there and Mikaela made a new friend there.
We met the parents, and here is where you discover that the world is smaller than you think it is. Her father was a young kid when Tim left Bedford. Rikard took Tim's newspaper route over. Tim also used to work for Rikards father now and then, and Bedford being Bedford, all the parents socialized, had dinners, dances and so on. Once that was discovered, there was another party.
Everybody left the next day, except us. We still had a week of holidays left. We set out in the dinghy for O'Donnell Point to look at the boats coming through and what does Bice see, but John and Lois coming through in their boat. They sail out of Penetang as well.

Here a picture of John and their Maine Coon cat, and a picture of lunch at O'Donnell with John and Lois and Don Lester and his wife.
