Sad to say, the weather gods played a very nasty joke on us. 10 cm of the white, wet stuff. Took Stella for a walk in the woods. She went on her 4 paws, me on snowshoes. With the trees bent and I had a hard time seeing where the main trail was.
Even though we haven't posted anything till today, it doesn't mean that we have been idling our time away, but figured "why post more pictures of the woods, and the snow, and the loft. It was a strange winter though, with snow, but not severely cold for our area, and then rain, and most of the snow would be gone, followed by snow, winds and cold!, and then the cycle would start all over again. But today was just .... nasty. We were promised rain, but got snow instead.
We worked on the loft during this winter.
started the drywall, and the framing of the bathroom
and went for some walks
Mason line, looking west
Cooks Dock Rd. The dock is around the corner. Almost there (Huffing and Puffing)
We also did a lot of curling (but no pictures of that, sadly).
And we both got COVID, which took most of March, even though we had 5 shots total. In all likelihood we picked it up at the curling club, since we got an email after a game-day that somebody had tested positive, and some other members were in a meeting where one person tested positive. Tim suffered more than I did, but I had to isolate with him until he tested negative, which finally happened after 2 weeks. Good thing we live in a remote area and have our own woods behinds us, so going for walks every day wasn't a problem.
