Gone again

We had Peter and Theresa visiting for an extended weekend. Good times. For the rest of the summer and the start of September we don't expect any visitors, so, we're gone. May come home for laundry and reprovisioning, but then gone again. At least that's the plan. Left  Gore Bay on Wednesday at 1 pm or so, heading for McGregor Bay, about 44 nautical miles from Gore Bay. Because of the travel time involved we decided to break it up a bit. To the Benjamin Islands first. Anchored behind Casa Mara, Dave and Cheryl 's old boat. Still a good looking boat. It was the first time that the current owners were in the North Channel and they were in awe.
Then a lazy motor sail to McGregor Bay. We had not been there before. Were able to get to the swing bridge at 1  o'clock.

Bob, Tango Michigan, met us just as we had entered McGregor and guided us in. Good thing. Lots of rocks. Bob and his wife Helen were actually the instigators of this trip. They really wanted to show us the area. Because of all the rocks, we had always been very hesitant,  but we trusted them. Good thing we did. Beautiful area. Long way in, but if you have all the time in the world, well worth it. So much so, that the lack of internet coverage didn't bother us too much.
