On This day In History
On this day in Jan 10 1999 "The Sopranos", starring James Gandolfini as mobster Tony Soprano, debuts on HBO and in music way back in 1958 Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire" reaches #1 on the UK pop charts. The record low was set back in 1982 where the temperature dropped to a mind numbing -36.9 deg/C For our American friends that is -34.4 deg/F. Last night is went down to -15.8 with wind chills around the minus 26 range. Needless to say we have really been socking the wood to the stove. We also picked up around 20 to 25 cms of snow in a storm a few days ago. The snow pack back in the woods is 30 to 40 cms of hard packed snow. In other happenings.... It's been a while since I featured the life of the Stella dog so here you go.
