Warm fall, Christmas was white and nice, and then it got cold!

Christmas was suddenly there and when I say suddenly I mean it. We have been busy with all kinds of house repairs. To the point that we did not have our annual Christmas Parade dinner party. This mainly because we were clueless as to what kind of state the house would be in in the week before that.
So, winter now! Right after Christmas. Super cold with new records. Lake Huron is still not frozen over, so we're bracing ourselves for squalls in the coming months. Hopefully not too many, so I can drive into work every day and then take 2 weeks of vacation before I retire.
Stella, the dog, the super dog, has no problems with all this snow or the cold.
