Next day was the Turkey feast (no pictures of the bird, by then we were too busy eating), and on Monday everybody left again.

This past weekend (Oct. 18) we went to the marina to prep the boat for haul out and winterizing her. The moon gave us a treat.
Hauled out the next morning at 8:30, did some more work inside and outside and when she was almost ready to get her tarp on it started to rain hard. Decided to go to Huntsville, small town close to Algonquin Park, had a good hike, a very nice dinner and stayed there overnight. It was raining hard overnight and then in the morning some frost and brilliant sunshine. The roof of my car looked like a million bucks.
Went back to the marina and managed to tarp the boat. Left at 2:30 and were home at 6. Now we will enjoy that typical fall weather, catch up on some reading and TV shows, and hopefully there will be enough snow this year to get some winter activities in.
