Has been some time since the last post. Probably because we have been busy. Tim with his new job, that started out as casual, contract programmer, but is now a full-time position at a middle management level, while trying to keep up with the computer business at the same time. (And anybody who wants to know more, should contact Tim for details). This means that I have to suddenly do more around the house. Not used to that anymore. We also will not have a holiday this year, so are planning to go to the boat every weekend, no matter what. Aside from the 1st weekend and the May 24 weekend, May was a bit of a write off for sailing, but we sure did a lot of work on and around the boat. June has been nice so far, with rain elsewhere but not in the Penetanguishene area. Have been swimming 3 times now. Today was truly enjoyable. Went down to look at the anchor with swim mask. Tim, the coward, dips his toes in and keeps muttering seven-zero. That's when he will go in. Hopefully next weekend.

So, Tim is working, and my work is busy and a bit crazy. Our Chief Librarian, who has been there for 35 years (me only 25) is retiring and moving to Ireland. The new Director will start in July, and we are in a period of transition, where some decision had to be put on hold till Jennifer comes in, and others you just do what you think is best and go on.
Had an Indonesian meal here for Pamela, with just the library people (6 women), and we had a great time. Lots of laughing, etc.
The library also had a commercial shoot to promote our area and services. The main characters were ... cats. In due time I will post a link for the video. Should be good. We have a really good camera/film creator/director/producer here at Huron. Hopefully he will stay for some time to come.
