Here the link so you get the idea.
We just grinned, because it meant that we just might have the anchorage we planned to go to to ourselves.
Beam reach. 5.5 kn wind Boat 4.2 knt boat speed on jib.and there was nobody out there. Once anchored we really thought that some other boats might come in, but no.... alone we were.

Here we have Tim, taking a picture of our perfect world

Beautiful weather, sunny and temps in the low 20s. No complaints from us. The loons were all over the place and we just did nothing.
and here the link to the anchorage that used the be a place where only sailboats would go, but is now taken over by stinkpots in the summer that tie up to shore (i.e. you can not see the shore line), and like to play music till 2 in the morning and whatever...
Left late Saturday to go back to the marina, where we had drinks with friends to celebrate "May-the-4th-be-with-you" and then on Sunday, finally broke down, and scrubbed the decks and such. Glad we enjoyed all this and had this beautiful sail with winds on the beam. This weekend the weather looks grim, cool, rain and maybe even some frost. Time to clean the galley and adjust something or other in the transmission cable.
