Could spring really have arrived?

Going for groceries in Gore Bay on a windy day in April and this is what we saw. The wind blew the lake water over the causeway and it froze on contact. Nice spring day (April 21).

 The Corona virus is still going around in Ontario, although it seems that it has reached its peak and murmurs are being made of maybe starting to open up, ever so slowly,  the economy. We will see.

In the meantime the weather has finally discovered that it's late April and that, just maybe, it should get a bit warmer and sunnier. And so it did. The cars have been washed suddenly, windows are suddenly looking a bit cleaner, laundry is hanging out on the line to dry, even the tulips are starting to come up, and poor Stella got her spring hair cut.

So did Tim!  

Yours truly at work. Used the dog scissors I bought way back when to trim Stella's hair around her eyes. They are still very sharp. Took quite some time and several additional trims during the day. Will be glad when the hair dressers are opening up their shops again.

And today we took the cover of the bbq and I roasted a chicken after flattening it. 

We were sipping some white on the porch while the beast was roasting.
