Hunting season has arrived

And if you don't hunt, you stay away from the forest, even if it's your own!
The village of Silver Water had, to welcome the hunters, organized a pancake breakfast and combined that with a bake sale to raise ffunds. I contributed an apple pie and woman hours at cleanup time. Cleaned tables and mopped floors. So did Tim.
Today we had some significant snowfall. Hopefully the plow will come by tomorrow and the sander on it will work and maybe Tim will get a ride again, like he did a few days ago.
We had some good wet snow that stuck to everything and temperatures were falling.
While Tim was snowblowing the driveway, the brand new plow came by and the oprator, a fireman, offered Tim the grand tour of all of Robinson and Dawson townships. Tim said yes and had a great time. Saw every sideroad there was to see and got all the switches and controls of the plow. That's when it became clear that the switch to regulate the sander/salter was not working properly.

Ken, the operator, was going to put a service call in. Hope it has some positive result. Our road  has a lot of ice patches with 10 cm. of snow.
