Lots of work

We took Saturday for just driving around and going to the future property for a walk from there to Cooks Dock. Had a very nice walk, as the pictures showed in the previous blog entry, but now it's time to get busy. Took the winter cover off on Sunday and then started the process of sanding and waxing. This was continued into Monday. We finished the sanding of the hull and the boat looks good; no new anti-fouling needed. The waxing was almost done and by then the beer was cold. What can I say? Tick, tock, 5 o'clock.

Today we went for an official, arranged visit to the property. Had another look at everything. Tim had lots of questions for the owner. We got the full tour. The man is very nice, and, get this, his son's name is Timothy William, so when he saw Tim's name, he felt really good about the whole deal. Nobody in his family with my names and he apologized for that.
Went for a full "walk the property lines". Beautiful trees, and no bugs. Our biggest concern should be raccoons and porcupines. Bill (current owner) set money aside for vet-bills.

After that back to work on the boat. Some of us anyway, while others took it easy. We will be launching on Thursday afternoon.

STELLA!!!

and some are hooking up the water
