Baconfest in Lucan
Sounds strange? Apparently a Harley Davidson is also known as a hog. There are pig farms here and a Harley Davidson dealer. So...baconfest it is. Lots of fun actually. Started a few (3?) years ago, but is now a big happening with 10,000 visitors, bands, food stands, vendors of all kinds, streets closed and so on. Went to see the Robbie Antone band. Really good blues.
