Maart roert zijn staart, April doet wat hij wil

Nice Dutch sayings. Literally translated the first one translates into March wags its tail, but the saying means that March can still produce some good storms, the second one means April does what it wants to do. So far the weather has been 4 seasons in 4 weeks, but out of order. We have had storms and rain, even a tornado north of here, spring temperatures and sun, fall rains, with lots of wind and cold, warm and sunny weather and now we're back to winter.

Here some pictures to show it all.

This picture was taken on March 27, a really nice day here, but a 100 km. north of here it was a different story. Freezing rain and snow. Not nice for an Easter weekend.

Now it is April 4. The crocuses are done, and I can only hope that the daffodils and tulips will survive the 20 cm. of snow, followed by a night temperature of -16.
