Party

Went to a party last night to celebrate/lament the retirement of a very nice history prof. The party was hosted by friends who have a cottage up north in the Bancroft area. She paints. When I saw this, I just asked her if it was for sale.

She said "yes", and now it is here to stay. I just love the Canadian shield.

I also love the fact that the ice is melting in the lakes, be it slowly, and that I saw this this afternoon
