now some pictures and Tim's reports

Max overlooking his domain

3 pictures today from the Benjamins where Bice and I have really taken a liking to.
Today was a glorious sunny, hot, clear day. Excellent swimming, trips in the dinghy and general all around socializing.
Had a rock party at 5. Discovered 2 sailors next to us are pilots also. 29 Sail and 8 power boats in here this evening.(Yea!!!)

(Tim loves tugs)

Some pictures from the Benjies of our new "pad"

Spider webbed in and all is well. Bice and I picked 2 cups of Blue Berries today and BB pancakes are on tap for tomorrow.

After the Benjamins we went back to Little Current to sit out wind and rain, and reprovisioning. We had been on the water for 2 weeks now and were running out of essentials (wine and beer, oh and fresh vegetables). Also needed a pump-out and some fresh water in the tanks.

Current running 4 knt East to West. Add one big ass power boat. Throw in tight docking and a stiff 15 knt NE breeze.
Mix and repeat. The victim was a nice Tartan T4400.

And then we took 10 days to get back home. Stopped in the Bustards

Pretty anchorage, but no protection from any wind with a northerly component. We saw the northern lights there and Tim found the mother load of all blueberries.

My niece Christine and her companion Nick and their 2 daughters can look forward to blueberry pancakes with maple syrup
