Dutch invasion

Trijny arrived via New York. The KLM thought that that was the fastest way to go, after they bumped her from her regular flight. In stead of arriving at 4:45 PM, she arrived at 10 PM. The KLM will hear from her, no doubt. Tim took her straight to Penetang, where our marina had forgotten to leave the hoteldoor unlocked. So, off they went to our friends' apartment. Tim had bought some fans and all was well at 1:30 AM Thursday morning, and Tim went to sleep on the boat.

The next morning was grocery shopping day and just hang around. The Dutch Bakery in Midland was visited and this is what was hanging there, much to Trijny's delight.

I arrived at 4:30, Jens and Marianne at 7. We had dinner on the boat, and then went to the apartment . Rain in the forecast for the next day, so the plan was to go visit the "Big chute" at the Trent Severn Waterway.

Always fascinating to see these boat being lifted out and go across the road. Already written about when Felie visited in October.

Saturday was the day to go sailing. Warm, sun, bit of wind, so, off we went.

Jens got his instructions

and then had to steer the boat, much to Marianne's delight
