Almost Christmas

Today's high is 12C. Decided to go for a hike at Morrison dam. Some of the trees there always remind me of Harry Potter, and I do call them "Harry-Potter-Trees". Came across one today that according to Tim deserved the name "Elephant tree".


Also saw this, which really surprised us, considering we have had snow and temperatures varying from -1 to -10 in the past weeks.

Mind you, the critter did move slowly.

After that it was back to the tasks at home. Started putting up the Christmas tree yesterday and was determined to finish it today. All the decorating has been done now and we can concentrate on getting the house ready for the famous Christmas parade dinner and then Christmas itself.
