almost spring, according to the calendar

As I write this...winter is still here. Today sunny and 3C and sunny. Very nice. Doesn't take much to make fools happy. Good thing it will be -5 by Sunday. We might think spring has arrived. Don't think we will be launching the boat in April this year.
Drove to Huntsville on Saturday to look at some land and such. Drove through some really nasty weather, and did some more snow shoeing, because that is the only way to go through the woods at the moment. Maybe it will change soon. When it does, we will be doing boat work. Still looking for suitable property, either cabin on a few acres or just land and we will build. Also, sort of, looking for another dog. Decided to go to Huntsville, as we were suffering from cabin fever, and there is always more to explore.There were some interesting prospects. The dog did not happen, she was pregnant. The properties were not pregnant, but not quite what we were looking for.

Tim took this picture on the way back (the snowbanks were actually higher on Sunday than on Saturday). Notice the nice, fresh, white stuffI.t is March, the roads have been plowed, the sun is out. things are supposed to melt and white snow starts to look dirty. Not so on March 16.

He was cold. It was -12 and he was only wearing a shirt. And if you really are looking for the nitty gritty here, you will wonder what happened to his hair. For you to decide.
