Guess Dire Straits never imagined to be in the dire circumstance of having one of their songs banned from Canadian radio, but here it is. No more "Money for nothing" in its original version. What's next? How about " Let's spend some time together, let's talk about the weather" Quoting a good friend of mine here, who plays in a band. Hopefully this band, The Comos, will perform this Stones song tonight singing the revised lyrics. If you really want to find out, you will have to go to The Old Vic tavern. They have a gig there tonight. And if they don't play this, they probably will play other politically correct songs.
Now, me being a woman, am also very offended of course. What's with this "Chick-thing"?
