Went sailing for the long weekend. Good weather was in the forcast, be it cloudy and windy for Saturday. Sunday and Monday temperatures of 25 and up. Has been years since we had a nice May 24.
And here a real beauty
Went to Bone Island. Had a steady 20 knots of wind and were most of the time on a beam reach, except for one small stretch where the wind was happily funnelling (is that even a word?) and we had 32. Not so nice.
Dropped the hook and spend the weekend there.
Went to the pond, where we had taken one of my sisters years ago, and took this picture. Going to look gorgeous, once it is all in bloom.
Mr. Turtle liked the sun as well.
The float plane owner was there as well at his cottage. His dock has hydraulic controls and he can lower it in the water and ride his plane off it
That water had reached by Sunday a temperature of 20, and by Monday morning it was 22. I swam quite a few times.
