Easter

A nice way to pass Easter weekend.

Left at 6 in the morning (yes indeed, yours truly was up at 5 in the morning) for the marina. Nice drive with very pretty sunrise. Environment Canada had predicted a high of 23C and sunny for the Easter Weekend and they lied. In the end the high in the marina was 28C.

The boat lost her pretty winter outfit, compliments of her captain

she got a wash and a wax at the local spa

and the dog went for a swim accompanied by therapist who needed a break.

After all that work we concluded that Winsome II was ready to be launched. As soon as the hydro and water are turned on at the docks we will launch her and do all the other grunt work that goes hand in hand with boat ownership.

On Sunday we drove to Toronto to visit the kids.

Jack and Marjo hosted the late lunch/early dinner. Jack made his famous steak sandwiches and we all had a good time, dogs included.

No pictures of Maaike, Tim and Todd. They took the pictures.
